*Ritz Carlton*
So me and mr Frog went to Ritz on Saturday night to dine at Summer Pavillion, little did we know until one of his frens told us that Summer Pavillion is actually one of the top 10 Asian restaurants in the whole of ASIA. woohoo.....but seriously the restaurant was absolutely and totally stunning, the ambience was a definite 11/10 the food was of top quality and I think when we arrived even F didnt realise how absolutely amazing it was...lets just say he was happy :)
So we didnt really order anything fancy schmancy we had for appetizers duckling with mango in lemon sauce, had shark cartillage with fish maw soup, sauteed pork with pineapples in sweet and sour sauce (a.k.a sweet and sour pork) hahahah...and crispy noodle with seafood sauce, and for dessert, he had herbal jelly while I had mango pudding and can i just say every taste, every mouthful was absolutely DIVINE! I know even thou the food all sound like nothing much but it seriously was the quality that blew me away. And the service..oh mi gosh let me just say it was fantabulous ( i know there's no such word) but that's just how great it was. My previous entry bout how rude some singaporeans can be...well let me just say they should send everyone for a course on common courtesy from this restaurant...and yes I know the restaurant staff are trained and paid to have service excellence at the restaurant but I personally feel that it was beyond the call of duty. They made sure our tea never touched the bottom of the cup, and every dish was served by them onto a plate, and if the serving plate was dirty, they would use another one even if it was just a drop of a sauce. I totally commend their excellent service.
After that, we met up with some of his frens and went to the infamous board game shop hehehe where we played Acquire til 1am...btw we were gg to church the next morning, thank goodness we were gg to the service at 11am but boy was I completely pooped!
Anyway my interview with civil servant college is tomorrow, please please pray for me...I am trying very hard to let go and let God as F keeps reminding me, I know that this is out of my control and all I can do is to just try my best. If this is His will for me I know that He will keep the doors open.
God, I can only pray that your will be done and not out of my own desires but to know that this is pleasing unto You. Pray for your guidance, your wisdom and understanding to be with me tomorrow and I hope that your presence will dwell in my soul and spirit. I ask that you may grant me a job that is glorifying unto You and will bring honour unto Your name. Amen.
God has been so so good to me and I will forever be so grateful to Him and I know that this is a time of moulding and refining me esp here in singapore, I can only pray and hope for His patience as I continue to wait for His calling in my life.
Cant believe the weekend is over, well....will be looking forward to this sat for our saturday getaway...yay!!!
