The simple things in life
well, yesterday while driving to uni...as usual ....i was just listening to the planetshakers cd that i burn from D...and jz at the moment as i was headbanging away...hahaha..yes...well i was in my car u kno...:P and i saw the simple and beautiful things that He has created but we often fail to notice bcuz we are too busy being self-absorbed in our own worlds. i dun mean that in a negative, critical way...but i suppose a lot of times its just plain human nature. We wonder why hasnt things gone our way? Why has this happen to us? Why, Why, Why...and i guess seeing the rays of sunlight that was cast over our perth city hovering behind this cloud that appears to spell a stormy night ahead, just reminded me of the beauty of the simple things in life. i like to marvel at God's creation...simply because He created it. and i just really want to make a mental note to myself to take more notice of His work not just of nature but of His children, the people...us. At that very moment, i felt a sense of peace and smiling to myself as i was driving...(and at times getting strange looks from the car next to me) just gave me such serenity. I mean that in every sense of the word. I think in the world we live in today, its so hard to really really feel serenity...at all...we are bogged down by our personal life, our family, our study, our walk with God but i truly thank God that He has given me such a new way of looking at things. I hope and pray that i will always be reminded of His love, His beauty and His grace.
